MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – A week after placing second as a team, the East Stroudsburg University men's track and field program tallied a first-place finish at the 37th annual Millersville Metrics, which was held on Saturday at Biemesderfer Stadium.
The Warriors topped Georgian Court in the team standings while recording six first-place finishes. ESU swept both relay events and notched three top-finishes in field events. Five Warriors added their names to the PSAC qualifiers list as freshman
Jamal Cooley qualified in both the long jump and triple jump for ESU.

Mamadu Bari delivered a first-place run for the Warriors with a time of 50.37 in the 400-meter, while senior
Khai Samuels clocked a career-best time of 50.57 to place third and add his name to the PSAC qualifier list.

Jalen Bailey teamed-up in the 4x100 meter relay for the Warriors and ran to a first-place finish in a time of 42.43. ESU also recorded the top time in the 4x400 meter relay as freshman

Andrew Schumacher finished with a time of 3:21.84.
Junior
Jeremy Smith became the second Warrior to add his name to the PSAC qualifier list this season in the 10,000-meter race as he placed third with a season-best time of 33:05.34. Senior
Jeremy Rapposelli finished in fourth with a personal-best time of 33:11.74 for ESU.
Monahan would place second in the 100-meters (11.17) for ESU, while Bailey finished second in the 110-meter hurdles (15.35), right ahead of senior
Mike Matrisciano in third (15.56). Schumacher, Bailey, and Matrisciano all finished in the top-five for the Warriors in the 400-meter hurdles. Schumacher placed second with a time of 55.20, while Bailey finished fourth (56.14) and Matrisciano fifth (56.37).
In field events, ESU saw junior
Darnell Randall record a first-place finish in the high jumps with a season-best mark of 6-5. Sophomore
Dan Amari notched the top mark in the pole vault with a height of 14-7 1/4, while sophomore
Dominic Walton had the best mark in the shot put for the Warriors (53-7 3/4).
Cooley delivered PSAC qualifying marks in both the triple jump (45-7 1/4) and long jump (22-3 3/4). Both of his marks were season-bests, while his long jump set a new personal benchmark. Freshman
Justin Miller placed second in the long jump (ahead of Cooley in third-place) with a season-best mark of 23-1 1/4 to add his name to the PSAC qualifier list in the event.
Freshman Carlos Pepin also qualified for the Warriors in the high jump, placing third with a personal-best mark of 6-4. Walton also placed third for ESU in the hammer with a personal-best mark of 156-8 and fifth in the discus (155-10).
The Warriors will split their time next weekend between three events across Pennsylvania, with stops in Kutztown (Thurs.-Fri.), Moravian (Fri.-Sat.), and Bucknell (Sat.).
