ESU (5-3) opened the day with 3-0 sweep against Rollins College (25-10, 26-24, 25-21) before dropping a 3-0 decision against Molloy College (21-25, 14-25, 20-25) in its second match of the day.

In their opening match of the day, the Warriors delivered a commanding 25-10 victory in the first set against the Tars. Leading 2-1 early in the set, ESU went on a 4-0 run to increase its advantage to 6-1. Rollins trimmed the deficit to 8-4 before another 4-0 rally gave the Warriors a 12-4 lead.

Rollins responded midway through the second set as the Tars turned a 9-7 deficit into a 12-9 advantage thanks to a 5-0 rally. Things seemed to be going Rollins' way as a 3-0 run increased their lead to 21-14, but ESU won four of the next five points to make it 22-18.

Molloy would jump out to a quick 4-2 advantage against ESU in the Warriors' second match. ESU battled to knot the score and eventually take a 6-5 lead before a 6-1 stretch gave the Lions back the lead and momentum.

Trailing 11-7, the Warriors showed that they could respond to the early play of the Lions, using a 7-0 run to take a 14-11 lead. Dunphy delivered a pair of aces in the run, while sophomore Kenzie Guimont tallied three kills.
