FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's golf team had three finishers in the top 20 after the second and final round on Monday at the Kutztown Fall Golf at Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa.
The Warriors, who were paced by junior
Micaela Crines, carded a 385 on Monday after not posting a team score following the opening round. West Chester won the tournament with a team score of 683 and had three golfers finish in the top 10 of the individual standings.
Crines, who carded ESU's lowest overall score for the fourth consecutive tournament, finished in a tie for sixth with a two-day score of 174 (88, 86). She finished one shot behind Alvernia's Bri Hocker, who finished fifth.
Freshman
Mariah Minter finished in a tie for 16th place after carding a two-day total 191 on the Par-70 course. Sophomore
Shannon Campbell finished in 18th place for the Warriors, while senior
Amy Bergquist carded a 103 on Monday after not being able to compete on Sunday.
West Chester's Meghan O'Mara won her fourth-straight tournament this fall after carding a +11 (75, 76). Yupha Muzyka finished second for Alvernia with a +20, eight-strokes ahead of the third-place competitor.
The Warriors host their annual ESU Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 6 at Glen Brook Golf Club beginning at 12 p.m.
