ERIE, Pa. – Junior
Micaela Crines carded a two-day 182 (87, 95) to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 14th-place finish at Mercyhurst's Evann Parker Memorial at Lake View Country Club on Friday and Saturday.
The Warriors carded a 776 after shooting 375 in the opening round on Friday and finishing with a 401 in the final round on Saturday. ESU finished five shots back of PSAC member Seton Hill, who carded a 771 (386, 385).
Crines finished the tournament tied for 44th out of 98 golfers in the individual standings. She was tied for 25th with seven other golfers after the opening round on Friday.
Senior
Amy Bergquist (88, 101) and freshman
Mariah Minter (99, 97) were the next two low scorers for ESU on the par-72 course. Bergquist finished in a tie for 60th with Victoria Adkins from Davis & Elkins, while Minter placed 69th (two shots ahead of Nikki Johnson from Gannon).
Gannon ranked first out of 16 schools in the team standings, while West Chester had the top individual finisher after Meghan O'Mara carded a 3-over 147 (72, 75).
ESU heads to Gannon for the Michael Corbett Fall Classic at Lake Shore Country Club on Sunday and Monday.
