How it Happened

- As the teams traded points to open the match, the score was tied at 7-7 before the Warriors jumped out in front 17-13, which forced a timeout by the Raiders. The stoppage failed to slow down ESU as they went on an 8-2 sprint the rest of the way to win the first set, 25-15, for a 1-0 lead in the match.

- In a back-and-forth second set, the Raiders were able to grab a 12-9 advantage following a 3-0 run before the Warriors called a timeout. ESU would then respond by scoring seven of the next 11 points to tie the set at 16-16. Following a service error by the Warriors, they would go on 4-0 sprint to take a 20-17 advantage which caused a timeout by Shippensburg. The Raiders would cut the deficit to one at 21-20, but after a timeout by ESU, the Warriors scored on four of the next five rallies to secure the set, 25-21.

- Similar to the first set, the teams exchanged points early on, but with the tally at 7-6 in favor of ESU, the Warriors used a 7-1 run to grab a seven point lead. Shippensburg would fall behind 19-11 before their second timeout which proved to be a non-factor for the Warriors as they finished on 6-1 sprint to win the set, 25-12, and the match, 3-0.
