LOCK HAVEN – East Stroudsburg University volleyball senior Ali Finch added another accolade on Wednesday as she garnered Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Atlantic Region First Team honors.

Finch was the lone setter named to the first team and joins former standout Trea-sure Ketter as the only players in program history to receive those honors. As a first-team selection, the Cadillac, Mich. native will now appear on the national ballot for All-America consideration which will be announced on Dec. 8. The D2CCA teams are voted on by the region's sports information directors.

The PSAC East Player of the Year continues to put together one of the most impressive campaigns in school history as she was also named to the All-PSAC East First Team. The senior has excelled in every area for the Warriors this year as she has a team-high 198 kills, 828 assists, five triple doubles and is second on the squad in digs (322) and blocks (83.0).

Finch was a three-time PSAC East Athlete of the Week, ranks fifth nationally in triple doubles and among conference ranks, the senior is 10th in assists per set and total assists.

Finch earned CoSIDA All-District honors back on Nov. 18 after posting a 4.0 GPA while pursuing her master's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders. The senior became the program's third Academic All-District selection and first since 2002.

Returning to the NCAA DII Tournament for the second consecutive season, ESU got the seventh seed during last week's selection show and will face No. 2 seed Gannon on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. for the first time this season.
