Hershey, Pa. – Sophomore
Mariah Minter finished 22nd in the individual standings and the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team wrapped up competition at the 2021 PSAC Golf Championships held at the Hershey Country Club East Course in Hershey, Pa.
Minter carded a two-day total 186 for ESU, shooting a low round of 92 on Saturday. Crines climbed three spots in the standings after finishing Friday's opening round tied for 25th with a 94.
Senior
Micaela Crines recorded a t-27th-place finish for the Warriors as she posted a two-day total of 190. After an opening round of 96, Crines responded with a 94 in the second two to finished tied with West Chester's Genuardi Joesphine.
Junior
Shannon Campbell rounded out placements for ESU coming in 37th after she carded a two-day total of 194. Campbell took 10 strokes off her round score after firing a 94 in today's round to move up three spots in the standings.
Sophia Mochan carded her low round of the tournament on Friday with a 91, which had her in a tie for 19th. However, the freshman did not compete in the second round.
Gannon's Maria Arenas captured the individual title for the Golden Bears after finishing +18 on the par-71 course. The victory was the second of the spring for Arenas, who also won the Browngolf Intercollegiate.
Gannon won its second consecutive and fifth PSAC Women's Golf Championship in program history after outlasting Mercyhurst in a playoff to finish with a team total of +663. The Golden Knights featured all-five of their golfers finish in the top 20.
