MOHNTON, Pa. – Senior
Micaela Crines carded a season-best 84 and finished tied for 13th to lead the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team on Tuesday at the Alvernia Spring Invitational from LedgeRock Golf Club.
The Warriors placed eighth out of nine schools in the team standings.
Crines posted the best score by an ESU golfer this year and it was helped by a 41 (+5) over her final nine holes of the round.
Sophomore
Mariah Minter and freshman
Sophia Mochan both fired a 97 to finish in a tie for 33rd. Junior
Shannon Campbell shot a 100 to place tied for 40th and round out the Warriors' participation in the event.
Alvernia's McKylie Boreman was the top individual finisher with a score of 72 (+1) on the par-71 course. York College topped the team standings with a group score of 312 which beat out second-place Stevenson by 20 strokes.
