EAST STROUDSBURG – After overcoming a slow start, the No. 10 East Stroudsburg University lacrosse team raced to a 14-3 victory over Kutztown on Tuesday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium. The Warriors (8-2, 7-2 PSAC East) scored 12 of the final 13 goals in the game to secure the season sweep over the Golden Bears (1-10, 1-9 PSAC East).

The Warriors were able to knot the score with 23:13 left in the opening half on Dent's first of two scores on a free position shot.
ESU earned its first lead of the contest at the 17:49 mark off of Curtis' first goal, which came unassisted. KU fought and tied the game just over a minute leader at 2-2 off a man-up goal from Hannah Brewster.
ESU called a timeout immediately after and regrouped. The Warriors took over on a game-altering 13-1 run, which began with four goals over the final 10:39 of the first half. Curtis E. Mitarotonda, Fitzpatrick and K. Mitarotonda all fired tallies on the scoreboard in that span.
Leading 6-2 after halftime, ESU did not lay off the gas pedal, scoring six consecutive goals to complete a 10-0 scoring spree. KU was able end the scoreless skid with its first goal in 34 minutes and 52 seconds of game clock with 12:05 remaining in regulation.
Holding a 12-3 lead, the Warriors added a pair of goals in the final 12 minutes to earn its eighth win of the season by a score of 14-3.
