LOCK HAVEN – The East Stroudsburg University men's cross country team got one final tune up in with a seventh place finish at Lock Haven's Go Fast River Run on Saturday from the West Branch Cross Country Course.
Racing in the 8k, the Warriors were led by Luke Valdevit as the graduate student took 55th with a time of 26:34.70. Freshman Landon Boyle was not far behind in 60th after clocking a time of 26:48.70, and sophomore Brian McGarrity was 73rd after finishing in 27:21.50.
Sophomore Evan Wooby took 80th after crossing the line in 27:38.00, and senior Camden Shaffer finished in 92nd with a time of 28:09.20.
Rounding out the finishes for ESU was a trio of freshman in Andrew Dowdell (115th – 29:24.90), Caleb Peters (130th – 30:17.10) and Justin Walters (133rd – 30:23.90).
