LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After a pair of shutouts against league opponents, including nationally-ranked Bloomsburg, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced on Monday that freshman goalkeeper Emmy Clarkson was named the PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Clarkson was impressive once again for the Warriors (7-2-2), posting five saves against No. 13 Bloomsburg in the clean sheet. She followed up that performance by making a single save against Mansfield to preserve the shutout.

The Frederick, Md. native has not allowed a goal in nearly 200 minutes off action, dating back to the 72nd minute against West Chester on Sept. 24.

Clarkson and the Warriors are off from game-action until Saturday, when ESU heads to Kutztown. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. against the Golden Bears.
