MANSFIELD – The East Stroudsburg University men's cross country team finished the season with a 13th place finish at the 2022 NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional on Saturday at the Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course.

Running in a 10k for the first time this season, ESU was paced by graduate student Luke Valdevit, who finished 49th after crossing the line in 31:06.1. Sophomore Brain McGarrity was next in 60th with a time of 31:59.9 and freshman Landon Boyle was clocked a time of 32:03.0 to earn a 79th place finish.

Sophomores Evan Wooby and Camden Shaffer each earned top-100 finishes as Wooby came in 85th (32:14.4) while Shaffer took 98th (32:41.8).

Rounding out the race for ESU was a pair of freshman in Andrew Dowdell (143rd – 35:23.1) and Justin Walters (159th – 37:59.5).

Any additional at-large NCAA selections will be announced Monday.

The Warriors will now turn their attention to the indoor track and field season set to begin on January 13.
