WEST CHESTER – Senior Shannon Campbell placed tied for 27th in a field of 47 to lead the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team at the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester on Monday & Tuesday.

The Warriors placed eighth in the team standings with PSAC schools claiming the top three spots.

West Chester won the team title by one stroke over Millersville (702-703), followed by Cal U (707), Le Moyne (720), Kutztown (773), Bloomsburg (779), Clarion (831) and ESU (846).

Mia Avotins (Le Moyne) won the individual title after posting a 36-hole score of 160 (79-81).

Campbell shot a 194 (96-98) to lead ESU, followed by freshman Samantha Young in 38th at 207 (103-104) and junior Mariah Minter in 39th at 213. Freshman Morgyn Wiley rounded out the scoring with a 232 (122-110) in 43rd.
