BLOOMSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University men's cross country team got one final tune up in prior to the conference championships as the Warriors took eighth at the Bloomsburg Invitational on a rainy Saturday morning from the BU Cross Country Course.
Competing in the 8K, Landon Boyle guided ESU for the fourth consecutive race as the sophomore took 26th out of 89 runners with a time of 27:59.9.
ESU had five freshman nearly run identical races as Tim Gale (29:48.0) and Liam Hansberry (29:48.1) took 59th and 60th, while Ethan Holcomb (29:54.6), Bryce Keenoy (29:54.7) and Jack Becker (29:54.8) finished 62nd, 63rd and 64th respectively.
Also running for the Warriors was freshman Lucas Thaler (75th – 31:24.0) and sophomore Andrew Dowdell (79th – 32:16.9).

ESU gets one week off before returning to Bloomsburg on Saturday, October 21 for the PSAC Championships. The Warriors are scheduled to compete in the 8K event at 11 a.m.
