2/16/2023 9:20:00 PM

YORK, Pa. – After an impressive debut on Wednesday at the PSAC Championships, freshman Vera Renshof took third-place with a school-record, NCAA 'B' time standard in the 200-yd freestyle on Thursday inside the Graham Aquatic Center on day two of the PSAC Swimming Championships.

The third-place finish (1:51.90) is the best individual finish for a Warrior at the conference championship meet since the 2003-04 season, 19 years ago. In 2004, Natalie Weingarter finished third in the 100-yd backstroke.

No Warrior has finished higher than Renshof in the 200-yd freestyle event in program history at the meet, with Judy Tooher also taking third place in 1980-81. She broke her own school record in both the preliminary and final round.

On Wednesday in her postseason debut, Renshof tallied a near school record and an NCAA "B" time in the 50-yd freestyle and took sixth-place in the event.
