EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University women's basketball guard Ryan Weise continued to accumulate accolades as the graduate student was selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

The organization was formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Weise becomes the fifth individual Academic All-District selection in program history, joining Tiffany Lapotsky (2019-20), Jackie Yandrisevits (2008-09), Monica Fogelsanger (2008) and Niki Cox (2005).

In the classroom, Weise currently holds a 4.0 grade point average while pursuing her master's in Management & Leadership in Sport Management.

This season she has been named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week (11/14), the D2CIDA National Player of the Week (11/15), to the November DII Women's Basketball All-Stats Starting Five, the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Organization's Pete Nevins Player of the Year, to the LVSCBO's Team of the Year and Scholar Athlete Team.
