STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University women's golf team teed up the 2023-24 season on Sunday afternoon by hosting the ESU Fall Invitational from the Glen Brook Golf Club.
The Warriors finished fourth in the team standing and were led by freshman Abby Beyer in her collegiate debut, who took ninth after carding an 87 (+15) on the par-72, 5,800-yard course.
Junior Samantha Young was one spot behind in a tie for 10th after firing am 89 (+17), while fellow classmate Morgyn Wiley took 19th with a 106 (+34). Sophomore Makena Young rounded out the finishes for ESU in 21st with a 128 (+56).
Kutztown captured the team title as the Golden Bears posted a combined total of 327. The Golden Bears' Brooke Graham took home the individual honors after firing a 71 (-1).

The Warriors travel to the Moselem Springs Golf Club on Oct. 1-2 for the two-day Kutztown Fall Invitational. Both rounds are scheduled to start at noon.
