GUELPH, Ontario – For the first time in program history, the No. 18 Eat Stroudsburg University women's wrestling team competed internationally, as Mia Macaluso and Zoe Gress took first-place in their respective weight class to highlight 14 Warriors who earned top-six placements on Sunday afternoon at the University of Guelph in Canada.

Notables

• Macaluso extended her match-winning streak to 13 after, advancing to the 55 KG semifinals after a first-round bye. She registered a fall (2:43) over Angella LoRusso of Adrian College and then pinned teammate Waverly KaneLong (1:13) to earn first place. The Otisville, N.Y. native improves her record to 19-3 in 2023-24.
• Gress also captured first place, going a 3-0 on the afternoon in Canada. She has now won 22 consecutive matches after tech fall victories over Amy Bell (EWC Bears) (10-0), and Michaela Rankin (Brock University) (10-0), before pinning Macy Malysiak (McMaster Universirty) in the 1st Place Match (1:03).
• Along with Macaluso and Gress, Waverly KaneLong (2nd, 55 KG), Angelina Hiller (2nd, 65 KG), Gabrielle Baker (3rd, 57 KG), Carmela Cancelmo (4th, 55 KG), Ruth Ansah (4th, 59 KG), Paityn DeLong (4th, 68 KG), Jade Huerta (4th, 72 KG), Natalie Dunn (5th, 53 KG), Cadence Howard (5th, 55 KG), Olivia Klein (6th, 50 KG), Emily Klein (6th, 53 KG) and Rachel DeGiulio (6th, 62 KG) placed in their respective weight classes.
