ORWIGSBURG, Pa. – Senior
Samantha Young led the way for the East Stroudsburg University golf team with an 11th-place finish at the Albright Fall Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Schuylkill Country Club.
Young carded a 92 (+20) on the par-72 course, finishing 11th among 46 competitors from 10 teams.
Morgyn Wiley secured 19th place with a 96 (+24), and
Brooke Pawelski tied for 27th, posting a score of 104 (+32).
Host Albright claimed first place among the 10 teams, combining for a +78 with 366 total strokes. Fatimi Rizvi recorded the tournament's lowest individual score with an 82 (+10), edging Lebanon Valley's Jillian Fidler on a back-nine tiebreaker.
The Warriors return to action on Monday at the Lebanon Valley Invitational, hosted at Lebanon Country Club. Tee-off is set for noon.
