FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Samanth Young led the East Stroudsburg University golf team at the Kutztown Fall Invitational on Sunday and Monday afternoons at Moselem Springs Golf Club, finishing +39 and tied for 26th place overall.
The Warriors finished in eighth place with a combined score of +239.
Young carded a +23 during Sunday's round and posted an impressive seven stroke improvement on Monday with a +16. Young birdied holes seven and 12, recording a four on the par five holes.
Abby Beyer followed in 30th place, combining for a +46 in the two-day event.
Morgyn Wiley (37th, +70) and
Brooke Pawelski (39th, +84) also competed for the Warriors.
The Warriors head to the Husky Invitational at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley on Thursday, Oct. 10 at noon.
