MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's basketball team dominated Point Park from start to finish in an 87-48 win at Millersville's Pucillo Gymnasium.
Notables:
- Emily Chmiel delivered another standout performance, recording her second 20-point double-double in as many games. She finished with 26 points on 73.3% shooting, 12 rebounds, two blocks, and two assists.
- Corrin Gill (Pictured Above) had a near double-double, finishing with 10 points, eight assists, and only two turnovers. She also grabbed three rebounds.
- Brie Droege scored in double figures for the first time in her career, tallying 10 points while shooting 50.0% from the floor.
- Kaitlyn McGeary added 11 points on 62.5% shooting and grabbed three rebounds.
- Izzy Vogel contributed nine rebounds.
- The Warriors defense held Point Park to just 25.9% shooting from the field and limited them to 1-of-24 shooting from three-point range.
- ESU dominated several key statistical categories, outscoring the Pioneers in points off turnovers (14), second-chance points (16), bench points (28), points in the paint (26), and fast-break points (9).
