MANSFIELD, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 4-1 road win over Mansfield on Saturday afternoon at Karl Van Norman Field.
The Warriors (8-3-7, 6-3-7) fell just one point short of a PSAC Tournament berth, as Bloomsburg claimed the fourth seed with a 1-1 tie against Shippensburg. The Mountaineers concluded the season with a 0-15-3 record.
Notables:
- Natalie Schooley extended her goal streak to five games, leading the Warriors with two goals. She now has nine goals this season, with eight coming during her scoring streak. The Cherry Hill, N.J., native has recorded 25 career goals, placing her eighth in program history.
- Fellow senior Millie Smith scored her third goal of the season within the first two minutes, with Abby James contributing her fifth assist of 2024.
- Sophia Lowery converted a penalty kick, marking her fourth goal of the season.
- ESU led in shots 28-3, shots on goal 15-1, and corner kicks 7-0.
- The Warriors entered the week ranked eighth in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region, with the top seven teams earning spots in the NCAA Tournament.
