LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After scoring four goals across two games, East Stroudsburg University senior Natalie Schooley has been named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Schooley has been in outstanding form as the regular season nears its end, recording five goals over her past three games. Her performance included a hat trick against Lock Haven and the opening goal on Senior Day against Shippensburg.
Her hat trick was the first by a Warrior since Melissa Herrera scored three goals against Kutztown in 2019.
With her latest goal against Shippensburg, Schooley moved into a tie for ninth all-time in program history with 22 career goals, joining Haley Skove and Monica Wood. She leads the team this season with six goals and 13 points.
This is the first Athlete of the Week honor for Schooley and the second time a Warrior has earned conference weekly honors this season. Goalkeeper Emmy Clarkson was named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week on Sept. 16.
Schooley and the Warriors return to Eiler-Martin Stadium for their final regular season home game, hosting Kutztown on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
