YORK, Pa. – The No. T-20 East Stroudsburg University women's wrestling team cruised to a 33-7 win over York in its final dual meet of the season on Saturday afternoon at Wolf Gym.

The Warriors (13-2) close the dual season and prepare for the NCWWC Region 1 Championships at Lock Haven on Feb. 24. The Spartans (4-4) close its inaugural season with a .500 record and will also compete at LHU later this month.

Notables

• The Warriors picked up victories in seven of eight matches (two double forfeits). ESU earned its seven victories via four falls, a decision and two forfeits.
• Recording pins for ESU were: Alanna Barberio (109), Carmela Cancelmo (123), Jade Huerta (170) and Kali Shifflett (190). Isabella Washington-Vasquez (116) and Damiana Racciatti (155) each picked up victories by forfeit.
