LEBANON – The East Stroudsburg University women's golf team opened their spring season on Monday with a 10th place finish at the Lebanon Valley Invitational, hosted at Lebanon Country Club.

Guiding the Warriors was Abby Beyer in tie for 30th as the freshman carded a team-best 103 (+31) on the par 72, 5,726-yard course.

Junior Morgyn Wiley shot a 104 (+30) to finish tied for 33rd and junior Samantha Young fired a 109 (+37) to come in a tie for 42nd.

Making her ESU debut on the links, Ellie Parido finished with a 133 (61+) in a tie for 62nd, while sophomore Makena Young totaled a 157 (+85) to take 69th. Parido has been a member of the ESU swimming squad for the last three years.

York captured the team title as the Spartans had the top-four finishers record a combined total of 336 (+48) as Lily Davis secured the individual medalist honors with a 82 (+10).
