DANVILLE – The East Stroudsburg University women's golf team took fifth place at ESU's Spring Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the Glen Brook Golf Club.
Samantha Young paced the Warriors as the junior took 22nd out of 39 golfers after firing an 88 (+16) on the par 72, 5,800-yard course.
Fellow classmate Morgyn Wiley finished in 23rd after carding an 89 (+17), sophomore Abby Beyer took 24th with a round of 90 (+18) and junior Ellie Parido was 35th with a 130 (+58).
Kutztown claimed the team title over Millersville by one stroke as Rhi Stutz paced the Golden Bears with individual honors as she totaled a 77 (+5).
