STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University golf team opened the 2024 season on its home course of Glen Brook Golf Club on Sunday, finishing fourth against Jefferson, Kutztown and Lock Haven.
The Warriors were led by sophomore
Abby Beyer, who finished tied for third in the event. The Dallas, Pa. native carded an 81 (+9), trailing only Jefferson's Vivian Chuang (73, +1) and Ammala Moua (79, +7). She tied for third with Kutztown's Brooke Graham.
Also competing for the Red and Black were
Samantha Young (93, +21) and
Brooke Pawelski (95, +23), who took 13th and 14th respectively among the 21 competitors who completed the par 72 course.
Jefferson won the team title, with the Rams posting a combined total of 326. Kutztown (351) and Lock Haven (403) took second and third.

- The Warriors return to action on Sept. 23 and 24 at the Millersville Fall Invitational at Berkleigh Golf Club. Monday's tee off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., while Tuesday's round is set to start at 8:00 a.m.
