DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Competing against 45 teams, including six from NCAA Division I, the East Stroudsburg University men's cross country team finished 12th at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday morning.
In an 8k race featuring 346 runners, Brian McGarrity paced the Warriors with a time of 26:12.5 to place 63rd. Evan Wooby was the next Warrior to finish, taking 87th with a time of 26:34.01. Andrew Tatesure (90th, 26:37.1), Landon Boyle (94th, 26:40.0), and Ethan Holcomb (99th, 26:46.4) all finished in the top 100.
Nick Gdowik (104th, 26:49.2), Bryce Keenoy (127th, 27:06.7), and Joe Walker (134th, 27:14.7) rounded out the Warriors' varsity race finishers.
In the JV race, Andrew Dowdell (105th, 29:13.5) and Justin Walters (170th, 31:20.6) competed among 233 participants.
ESU is idle until Saturday, Oct. 5, when the Warriors will compete in the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University.
