EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University swimming team closed its dual season and honored its seniors with a 139-101 victory over Felician on Friday evening inside Koehler Fieldhouse.
The Warriors (5-1) finished their dual season on a high note with a Senior Day win, while the Golden Falcons (7-3) enter the NE10 Championships following the defeat.
Prior to the meet, the ESU athletic department honored Gabby Ciesla, Avery Fohring, Nina Marchese, and Ellie Parido for their contributions to swimming, academics, and the ESU community.
Notables
- ESU opened the meet in record-breaking fashion, shattering the school and pool record in the 800-yard freestyle relay time trial. Brianna Wasem, Anna Stauffer, Anique Hazebroek, and Vera Renshof combined for a time of 7:42.77, breaking the previous school record of 7:52.46 (set in 2014) and the pool record of 8:01.08 (set last season).
- In the 800-yard freestyle relay, three Warriors recorded top-10 all-time marks in the 200-yard freestyle: Wasem – 1:57.10 (5th all-time), Stauffer – 1:56.51 (4th all-time); Hazebroek – 1:52.84 (2nd all-time).
- Mia Estep became the 14th Warrior this season to earn a PSAC qualifying mark, securing her place at the conference championships with a 2:35.33 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Anna Stauffer added her fifth PSAC mark of the season in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.90).
- Brianna Wasem posted a season-best time in the 50-yard freestyle (24.43), which ranks fifth-best in program history.

- E1 | The Warriors shattered the 800-yard freestyle relay program and pool records to open the meet.
- E2 | ESU took the top two spots in the 200-yard medley relay, led by Palochik, Leveto, Fohring, and Wasem in 1:52.04.
- E3 | Ciesla placed third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.74).
- E4 | Spence won the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.17), while Palochik (1:04.11) and Grayauskie (1:05.98) placed third and fourth.
- E5 | Stauffer (1:08.90) and Leveto (1:08.93) secured the top two spots in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- E6 | Gambler led ESU with a third-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:22.09).
- E7 | Wasem dominated the 50-yard freestyle (24.43) with a top-10 program time.
- E9 | Renshof and Fohring competed in a 100-yard IM time trial, with Renshof missing the program record by just 0.02 seconds.
- E10 | Stauffer secured another first-place finish, clocking 54.36 in the 100-yard freestyle.
- E11 | Spence earned her second individual victory in the 200-yard backstroke (2:18.96), followed by Grayauskie (2:25.22) and Vachout (2:26.44) in second and third.
- E12 | Estep clinched her PSAC qualifying mark in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:35.33) while placing first. Engler followed in third (2:45.16).
- E13 | Marchese paced ESU with a runner-up finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:33.58).
- E14 | Gambler (1:01.85) and Palochik (1:02.91) secured the top two spots in the 100-yard butterfly, earning 13 team points for the Warriors.
- E15 | Hazebroek recorded a season-best time in the 400-yard individual medley (4:56.69) while finishing second. Wang (5:12.50) placed third.
- E16 | ESU closed out the meet with a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay, as Wasem, Hazebroek, Stauffer, and Renshof combined for 1:38.27, adding 11 points to ESU's team score.
