LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team fell to Lock Haven on the road Wednesday evening at Hubert Jack Stadium, 1-0.
The Warriors fell to 2-4-3 in conference play and 5-4-3 overall, while Lock Haven picked up their first conference win to improve to 1-6-2 in the PSAC and 3-6-2 overall.

In the first half, both teams tallied five shots, with ESU placing all five on goal. In the second half, ESU managed only three shots while Lock Haven registered nine, before netting one at the 78:36 mark. ESU goalkeeper Emmilia Clarkson was in for the duration and posted four saves. Lock Haven's goalkeeper Megan Miller recorded six saves, which included five from the first half.
How it happened
Jade Wiley recorded the game's first two shots on goal, with the first coming at 5:44 and the second at 20:39. Clarkson notched her first save at 23:25 off a high center shot. Three minutes later, Sydnie Wright made an attempt, just before the Bald Eagles recorded four consecutive shots, with just one being on target. With seven minutes remaining in the first half, Sydney Hornberger and Wright each took a shot.
The Bald Eagles opened the second half with two shots before Wiley posted her third at 67:59. The Warriors' final two shot attempts came from Mia Chapman just before the Bald Eagles netted the lone goal of the game at 78:36.
