MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – For the third year in a row, the East Stroudsburg University Field hockey team boasts the most selections to the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Academic squad, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Among those 21 recipients, Allyson Forman, Kerry Kaufman and Olivia Peechatka were honored for the fourth time in their careers.

The Warriors have posted the most National Academic Squad honorees for Division II in the 2017-18, 2018-19, 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 academic calendar years.

430 student-athletes from 30 Division II institutions have been named to the 2024 NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad.

The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

Three prestigious Division II academic awards are yet to be unveiled — the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction will be announced on February 14, the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 18, and concluding with the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on February 20.
