STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team continued their impressive run with a 5-2 home win over California (Pa.) on Sunday morning at Stroudsburg High School.
With the victory, the Warriors improve to 13-5 on the season and move within one win of tying the program record for most wins in a single season. The Vulcans fall to 11-4.
Doubles Recap
No. 1 Doubles:
Marketa Beladova and
Louise Boyer-Vidal notched their sixth consecutive doubles win, taking down the regionally ranked pair of Leandra Guildimann and Teddi Isherwood, 6-3.
No. 2 Doubles:
Lea Stefanovic and
Ariel Kelsick secured a 6-4 win over Diletta Maria Mungo and Garance Laforet.
No. 3 Doubles: The Spanish duo of
Bega Gotor and
Claudia Ermina came up just short, falling 7-5 to Izabelle Heacox and Anika Hendrich.

Louise Boyer-Vidal fell in a tight contest to Diletta Maria Mungo, 4-6, 6-3, 9-11.
