Fleetwood, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's golf team wrapped up a busy weekend of competition on Sunday afternoon, placing sixth at the Kutztown Spring Invitational held at Moselem Springs Golf Club. The Warriors posted a team score of 384 (+104).
Leading the way for ESU was
Samantha Young, who tied for 12th overall with a round of 85 (+15).
Abby Beyer followed closely behind, tying for 15th after carding an 88 (+18). Senior
Morgyn Wiley shot 101 (+31) to tie for 27th, while Scranton native
Brooke Pawelski finished in 32nd with a 110 (+40). Rounding out the Warriors' lineup was
Makena Young, who recorded a 150 (+80).
Alvernia University claimed the team title with a total score of 327 (+47), and Emmerson Bartley (Alvernia) earned medalist honors with a 79 (+9).

The Warriors return to action next Saturday, April 12, at the Millersville Invitational, hosted at Tanglewood Manor Golf Course. Tee time is set for 1 p.m.
