Lock Haven, Pa. – Marketa Beladova has been named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, following her standout performance in East Stroudsburg's historic victory over West Chester — the program's first win over the Golden Rams in 15 years.

The graduate student from the Czech Republic was instrumental in the Warriors' win, claiming victories at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. Teaming up with Louise Boyer-Vidal, the top Warrior duo defeated West Chester's Delaney Tingle and Alexandra Cave. Beladova then followed up with a dominant singles performance, taking down regionally ranked Delaney Tingle in straight sets.

Beladova and the Warriors will look to build on their momentum this Sunday, April 13, when they host a doubleheader at Stroudsburg High School. They'll take on California (Pa.) at 10:30 a.m., followed by a matchup with Arcadia University at 3:00 p.m.
