East Stroudsburg, PA — East Stroudsburg University is proud to announce that both its women's swimming team and standout swimmer
Vera Renshof have earned national accolades from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2024–25 season. Renshof was named a Second-Team Scholar All-American, while the ESU women's swim team earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors, reflecting the program's dual commitment to academic excellence and competitive success in the pool.
Renshof, a Public Health major, maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher and met the national "B" time standard required for Second-Team selection. Her achievement is further highlighted by an exceptional junior season in the pool:
- 2025 PSAC Champion in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.23).
- Recorded a personal best of 51.84 in the 100 free at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational.
Team Academic Excellence
The ESU women's swim team also earned Scholar All-America Team distinction for the Spring 2025 semester, recording a commendable team GPA of 3.72. They join 763 collegiate swim programs nationwide that were recognized for surpassing the 3.00 GPA threshold.
National Recognition Highlights
This year, the CSCAA named more than 2,700 swimmers and divers as Scholar All-Americans. Nearly 48% of honorees were STEM majors, and Business Administration ranked as the most common individual major. Eight honorees also received national Swimmer or Diver of the Year awards.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA remains the nation's premier organization for collegiate swimming and diving coaches, promoting educational advancement and recognition of student-athletes across all levels.
