EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University Field Hockey team is entering the 2025 season with high expectations, earning the No. 2 spot in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) preseason poll. 

Coming off a strong 2024 campaign as PSAC runner-up, ESU posted a 17-5 overall record and a 7-2 mark in conference play. Despite the departure of standout Jady van Gils, the 2024 PSAC Athlete of the Year, the Warriors retain a formidable core. Four All-Conference honorees return, including Kerry Kaufman (Second Team) and Minke Klijn (Third Team). Klijn led the team in scoring last season with 13 goals, while Kaufman added seven goals and four assists.

Offensively, ESU remains a powerhouse. The Warriors finished 2024 with 62 goals—third-most in the PSAC—and 43 assists, ranking second in the conference. With a potent attack and experienced leadership, the team is poised to contend for the PSAC title and beyond.
