KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The East Stroudsburg University men's cross country team completed their second meet this season at the DII/DIII Challenge hosted by Kutztown University. The Warriors came away with another top-3 finish on the hilly course at Kutztown.
The Warriors placed their top five men in the first 21 places of the 8km race with a spread of just 29 seconds. Nine teams and 102 runners completed the 8km race. ESU finished in third with a total of 82 points behind conference rivals West Chester and Kutztown, who defended their home course with the win.
Notable Performances
Liam Hansberry led the Warriors finishing in their top position. He placed 13
th overall with a time of 26:59. Closely behind were
Brian McGarrity who placed 14
th in 27:06 and
Andrew Tatesure in 16
th with a time of 27:11.
Rounding out the top five scorers for the Warriors were
Bryce Keenoy in 18
th, finishing in 27:22, and Aiden Voth in 21
st, with a time of 27:28.
To cap off the top seven were
Landon Boyle in 25
th, with a time of 27:35.60, and
Ethan Holcomb in 28
th, finishing in 27:41.30
