Anna Coulter Earns Academic All-America First Team Honors

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- East Stroudsburg University women's volleyball senior Anna Coulter repeats as an Academic All-American, earning first team honors, released by the College Sports Communicators Tuesday afternoon.

Coulter is one of just three repeat selections on the DII Academic All-America teams, previously earning third team honors last season. Coulter is the second Warrior to earn Academic All-America honors, alongside Ali Finch, who earned the honor in 2021.

" This school and program has given me so much these past four years, I am blessed to be able to represent our team and ESU on one of the biggest stages." said Coulter.

In the classroom, Coulter maintains a 3.96 GPA while majoring in sports management.

This season in the record book, Coulter ranked fifth in kills (439), 11th in kills/set (3.63), fifth in attack percentage (.356), first in blocks (200), first in blocks/set (1.65), and recorded 600 points. Anna led the conference in blocks/set, points/set, total blocks, total points, and was second in total kills, third in hitting percentage, and fourth in kills/set this season. Nationally, Coulter ranks second in blocks/set, first in total blocks, 12th in points/set, 25th in total kills, and 31st in hitting percentage.

It has been an honor to watch Anna wear the Warrior uniform throughout her illustrious career; she has distinguished herself as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in the history of our program." said ESU Associate Athletic Director for Student Success/SWA Sarah Ross. "Our department takes immense pride in all that she has achieved, and we are grateful for the legacy she leaves behind." 

This is her 11th honor of the postseason. Previously, she has been named PSAC First Team, PSAC East Athlete of the Year, D2CCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, D2CCA All-Region First Team, D2CCA All-America First Team, AVCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, AVCA All-Region First Team, AVCA All-America Third Team, NCAA Atlantic Region All-Tournament Team, and CSC Academic All-District.

The Division II team had a 3.96 cumulative GPA with 12 team members maintaining a 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate and/or graduate studies.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
