COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — The ESU women's wrestling team went back down to the campus of Ursinus for the Will Abele Open, winning one bracket and having six top-five finishers across the tournament's brackets.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Olivia Klein brought home a bracket win for the Warriors, going 4-0 in the 103-pound bracket. Klein won her first three matches by technical fall before pinning NJCU's Marielys Lugo-Fernandez in the championship match.
• Ragan Retell finished in second place in the 138-pound bracket, going 4-1. For Retell, she alternated wins by fall and technical fall to the final round before narrowly dropping the final match by a 10-8 decision.
• ESU had two wrestlers win third-place matches, with Tianna Savino in the 110-pound bracket and Gianna Amendola in the 131-pound bracket. Savino went 2-1 on the day with one win via fall, and Amendola also won one match by fall and her final match by decision.
• Isabella Washington-Vasquez and Ariel Manning were the final two Warriors' to place at the tournament, working out of the 117-pound bracket and 131-pound bracket, respectively. Washington-Vasquez rebounded after dropping her first match by winning her next five, all by pinning her opponent. Manning also fell in her first match but won three-straight to end the day on a high note.
