2/13/2026 11:44:00 AM

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its Division II Scholars of Distinction, with six Warriors earning the honor.

The NFHCA recognizes 144 exceptional undergraduate student-athletes as 2025 Division II Scholars of Distinction. This honor celebrates student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

ESU's honorees, in alphabetical order, were Nicole Conklin, Kerry Kaufman, Kayla Minkon, Maddie Moline, Kylie Moore, and Piper Patrick. Kaufman and Minkon join an exclusive list of just 26 students in all of Division II to be honored for the fourth consecutive year. ESU is one of 10 institutions that have at least six athletes named, with the PSAC representing 37.5% of all honorees with 54 Scholars of Distinction.
