DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS
  • ESU's second day was highlighted by senior Vera Renshof in the 200-yard freestyle. Renshof captured the title in the 200-yard for the second consecutive year, becoming the first Warrior to win back-to-back races at the PSAC Championships since Karen Linck in the 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard butterfly in 1977-78. Renshof's time of 1:51.61 was nearly two seconds faster than her preliminary round time and scored 32 points for ESU.
  • In the same event, Anique Hazebroek finished fourth with a time of 1:52.43 for another 26 points. Both Renshof's and Hazebroek's times made the NCAA B Cut.
  • In the B-Final of the event, Anna Stauffer finished 13th, recording a time of 1:55.98 for 14 points.
  • The Warriors' 400-yard medley relay team of Chelsea Chiu, Tamara Engler, Hazebroek, and Renshof finished in seventh place with a time of 3:57.05. The group's effort set a new school record, beating the previous mark of 3:57.16 set in 2013.
  • Mikayla Potts qualified for the C-Finals of the 100-yard butterfly, earning 23rd at the meet after a finish of 1:00.42.
  • ESU's team of Potts, Sam Grayauskie, Avah Kling, and Stauffer scored 34 points for the Warriors in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The team added on 34 points to the Warriors' total, as they finished the first half of the meet with the seventh-most points at 268.
