EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's basketball team fell to Kutztown in its final regular-season home game Wednesday evening, 60-53.
The Warriors are now 16-11 overall and 11-9 in PSAC action, while the Golden Bears improved to 18-9 overall and 14-6 in the conference.

Avery White led the floor with 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. Lacie Kringe and Brie Droege each contributed 13 points and three assists. Jess Devine grabbed five rebounds, while Brie, Caitlin Marten, and Emma Thornton grabbed four each.
How it Happened
The Golden Bears got an early 7-2 lead before White recorded her 1,000th career point with a jumper at the 7:32 mark. A jumper from Brie at 3:26 put the Warriors in front, 12-11. Kringe and White added a pair of baskets before Kutztown tied the game at 16 with a three-pointer. The quarter ended with two free throws from the Golden Bears, 18-16.
White opened the second quarter with a layup before her three-pointer at 6:58 put the Warriors ahead, 21-18. Lilly Riggi and Brie combined for five points under the minute mark to send ESU into the half ahead by two, 32-30.
Kutztown used an 8-0 run early in the third quarter to take a 38-32 lead. Kringe answered with a three-point play to trim the deficit to three. Baskets from White, Kringe, and Brie sparked a quick 7-0 run for ESU, but Kutztown responded with a seven-point run of its own. The quarter closed with a last-second layup from Marten.
White opened the fourth quarter with another three-pointer to tie the game at 47. The Golden Bears responded with an 8-0 run to take a 55-47 lead. Thornton snapped the run with a layup at the 4:42 mark, followed by a jumper from Marten at 3:04. Thornton later added ESU's final basket with 28 seconds remaining.
