DANVILLE, Pa. – On Thursday, the East Stroudsburg women's golf team traveled to Frosty Valley Resort to partake in the Bloomsburg Husky Invitational, where they battled to finish in seventh place out of 10 teams.

ESU made improvements from their last match, shooting a +107 as a team. Freshman Samantha Boger shot a +16 and tied for ninth place in her first match as a Warrior. Abby Beyer had another strong showing, getting two birdies and recording a +18, tying for 12th place. Brooke Pawelski finished tied for 34th after shooting a +31 and securing an impressive birdie on the 17th hole. Maya Flicker ended her day with a +42, tying for 44th place. Makena Young carded a +59 and finished in 53rd place. 

Bloomsburg won the Husky Invitational, finishing with a +56 team score. Noemi Krizso of Bloomsburg recorded the best individual score, shooting +6.
