QUARRYVILLE, Pa. — The ESU women's golf team opened its season at the Millersville Women's Invitational at Tanglewood Manor Golf Club, finishing in ninth place out of 10 teams.
The Warriors shot +168 as a team, led by
Abby Beyer. The junior finished tied for 25
th in the tournament, posting a +20.
Brooke Pawelski was close behind her, finishing +28 over, tied for 40
th.
Maya Flicker and
Makena Young rounded out ESU's group, finishing 49
th and 52
nd with +49 and +71 scores, respectively.
Bloomsburg won the Invitational with a +58 team score, and Adelphi's Nikola Truhlarova finished with the best individual score, +8.

The Warriors have a busy week, competing in three tournaments in four days. They'll start at the Husky Invitational, beginning at noon on Thursday, April 9, at Frosty Valley Resort in Danville, Pa.
