LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — Wrapping up its academic award announcements for 2025-26, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) revealed that the ESU women's basketball, field hockey, women's golf, and women's soccer teams finished as Top Team GPA winners.
 
This is the 15^th year the PSAC has had Top Team GPA awards. The awards, released at the conclusion of every academic year, honor the teams with the top cumulative grade point average in each of the 21 sponsored sports within the PSAC. The conference sponsored 23 sports in total for 2025-26; however, for award purposes, indoor and outdoor track & field are counted as one.
 
East Stroudsburg University was one of four institutions to have multiple teams earn Top GPA awards, tied with Gannon for the second-most. For both women's basketball (3.777) and field hockey (3.620), it is the second year in a row each team has won the Top GPA award for their sport. The women's golf team (3.801) and women's soccer team (3.791) were ESU's two highest team GPAs, helping the university average a 3.497 GPA, the third-highest in the conference.
