EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Women's tennis hosted Drew on Wednesday evening, sweeping every set to pick up a 7-0 victory, their second win of the season. The Warriors climb above .500 with the win, now 2-1 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Lea Stefanovic and
Elessa Jacobs picked up the biggest win margin in doubles play, taking a 6-0 shut out.
Jenna Kastell and
Ariel Kelsick earned a 6-3 win from the top spot on the lineup while
Bega Gotor and
Claudia Ermina claimed a 6-4 victory to secure the doubles sweep for ESU.
In singles play, no Warrior gave up more than two games in a given set. Stefanovic earned a 6-1 win in both sets from the No. 1 spot. Kelsick shut out her opponent in the first set and only allowed one game to be taken in the second. Kastell let two games go in her first, but improved to just one in the second set. Both Jacobs and
Audrey Conover claimed a 6-1 win in the first set before not giving up a single game in the second. Bega recorded a shut out in her first set as well and a 6-1 victory in the second set to secure the match sweep for the Warriors.

ESU faces a string of tournaments ahead, the first being the Bloomsburg Dynamic Duo Tournament, taking place on Saturday and Sunday in Bloomsburg, Pa.
