2025 Season Highlights: In a record-setting season, Sarah Davenport captured nearly every accolade imaginable—earning First Team East All-PSAC, being named the D2CCA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year, and collecting First Team All-Region honors. She capped it off with two All-America nods, landing on the NFCA First Team and the D2CCA Second Team, becoming one of the nation's most elite pitchers.
Davenport was simply dominant in the circle: she started 36 games, threw 246.1 innings, and posted a sparkling 1.51 ERA with a staggering 393 strikeouts. She went 32–4 with two saves, 15 shutouts, and tossed a no-hitter against Lock Haven (Mar. 25). Her season included a 17-strikeout masterpiece at Mansfield (Apr. 27), a 10-inning shutout at Shepherd (Mar. 22), and a flawless 7-inning one-hitter in NCAA play vs. West Chester (May 10).
One of the most feared aces in the country, Davenport’s competitive fire, command, and endurance powered ESU to a conference title and deep postseason run—cementing her place among the program’s all-time greats. Played a pivotal role in securing the 2025 PSAC Championship with a gritty win over Shepherd, cementing a landmark achievement in the program’s legacy.
