2025 Season Highlights: A standout across both sprints and jumps,
Bryson Gilchrist soared through the 2025 season as one of East Stroudsburg’s most dynamic dual-event athletes. His signature performance came at the
All-American Invitational, where he claimed
1st place in the long jump with a massive leap of
7.52m (24' 8.25"), propelling him onto the national radar and earning a berth to the
NCAA Division II Championships, where he placed
17th among the country’s best.
Gilchrist was consistently dominant in the long jump all season, finishing 2nd at both the PSAC Outdoor Championships (7.35m) and the Monmouth Season Opener (7.10m), while taking another runner-up spot at Shippensburg (7.22m). His performances showed sharp progression and the ability to deliver across wind conditions and competitive fields.
On the track, he proved equally valuable. He ran 10.75 in the 100m at the Delaware Invitational, landing 5th place, and clocked sub-22.10 marks in the 200m multiple times. In relays, Gilchrist helped anchor the 4x100 squad to top-5 finishes at meets including Delaware (1st), Penn Relays, and PSACs — demonstrating both speed and team synergy.
Indoors, he continued to compete across sprints and jumps with notable performances at SPIRE and PSU, including a 4th-place finish in the long jump (6.84m). His early-season sprint efforts included a 3rd-place finish in the 60m at the West Point Open, offering a preview of his speed.
