2025 Season highlights: Steady, versatile, and unshakably consistent,
Ethan Holcomb carved out a gritty and dependable season for East Stroudsburg University’s distance squad in 2025. Covering everything from the mile to the 10K, Holcomb showed his endurance and mental toughness across both indoor and outdoor tracks.
Outdoors, Ethan dropped his season-best 5000m time of 14:56.34 at the Danny Curran Invite, placing 11th in a deep field. He also clocked 32:24.22 for 12th in the 10,000m at the PSAC Outdoor Championships, after running an even faster 31:34.16 at the Bison Outdoor Classic. In middle-distance action, he posted top-15 performances in the 800m (2:06.57) and 1500m (4:09.45).
Indoors, Holcomb was equally sharp. His 3000m performances included a 9th-place 8:51.69 at Bucknell Tune-Up, and consistent low 8:50s showings at SPIRE and PSAC Championships. His best indoor 5000m came at Gulden Invitational, where he finished 8th with 15:28.56, and followed up with a 9th-place effort at PSACs (15:41.09).
Ethan also contributed to relays, helping the 4x800m team to a 6th-place finish at Gulden Invitational, and competed in the mile at West Point, placing 12th with 4:34.18 — further proof of his wide-ranging ability.
