Biography

PSAC Scholar-Athlete (2023-24)

2024 Season Highlights: Rivera-Lagalla brought athletic versatility and consistency to the midfield in her junior season, appearing in 21 games and contributing on both ends of the field for the Warriors. She notched her first collegiate goal in a 5-1 win over Frostburg State (Oct. 3), while also adding an assist earlier in the season at Pace (Sept. 11) to total 3 points on the year. Rivera-Lagalla tallied 13 shots—7 on target—with her highest shooting performance coming against Assumption (Sept. 8), where she fired off 3 attempts.

Known for her athleticism and leadership, Rivera-Lagalla logged a season-high 55 minutes in a tight contest at Kutztown (Oct. 1) and consistently brought energy and vision to the Warriors' midfield rotation.

Sophomore (2023) (Season Stats): Played in eight games ... recorded her first collegiate assists with two vs. Roberts Wesleyan (9/22) ... contributed to ESU's 2023 PSAC Championship and NCAA Division II National Runner-Up finish.

Freshman (2022) (Season Stats): Made first collegiate appearance against Slippery Rock (9/17) ... contributed to the Warriors' 2022 PSAC Championship and NCAA Division II National Championship.

Background: A two-year captain in field hockey, basketball, and softball at Boonton High School … collected Third Team All-State and First Team All-Conference honors in 2021 … a two-time All-County First Team selection … recipient of the coaches award and team MVP … honored with the Semper Fidelis Award For Musical Excellence, Physical Education Department Award and Raymond Curtin VFW Award for Outstanding Female Athlete … honor roll student … majoring in nursing.
